Benjamin Poissonnier

Group Head of Mergers & Acquisitions

Benjamin Poissonnier is Group Head of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at Sodexo, a role he has held since 2024. Based in Paris, he brings to the position a strong track record in leading complex acquisition projects and shaping growth strategies for the Group. Benjamin joined Sodexo in 2019 and has since progressed through several key roles within the M&A team, first as M&A Manager, then as M&A Director from 2023 to 2024, before stepping into his current leadership position.

His career began at EY, where he gained foundational experience in M&A and transaction advisory work. This early exposure to financial analysis, deal structuring, and due diligence provided him with a solid base for his subsequent responsibilities in corporate development.

Benjamin holds a Master 2 degree in Audit from ESSCA (École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers), completed between 2005 and 2010. His academic grounding in audit and finance continues to underpin his strategic, analytical, and executional approach to transactions.
