Catharine Barras
Chief Operating Officer, Global Strategic Accounts

 

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Catharine began her career in the North East of England in general management for BaxterStorey. Since then, she has built an international career, having lived and worked across the world. She has led teams across Asia Pacific, overseeing banking clients based in Hong Kong, and most recently served as Vice President of the North America and Canada business for Compass Group, based in New York City.

Catharine specializes in the banking and technology sectors, working with some of the leading global clients, including HSBC, Microsoft, Google, Royal Bank of Scotland, AXA, and Cisco.

Passionate about food and creating exceptional workplace experiences, Catharine brings a wealth of expertise and a global perspective to our Global Accounts team. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to new destinations and immersing herself in local cultures with her wife.

Dean Kennett
Managing Director Fooditude

 

Dean Kennett started his career as a chef manager. He learnt the hospitality trade from the ground up, but big ideas to change the contract and event catering industry were brewing. In 2005, Dean finally implemented his vision: establishing Fooditude (then known as Just Hospitality)

She joined Sodexo in 2013 and became Chief Financial Officer in 2019, a role she held until she became COO at the start of 2025. Passionate about diversity and gender equality, Jean leads Sodexo UK&I’s gender balance advisory board, SoTogether, and serves as a non-executive director on the audit committee for the Wellbeing of Women charity.
